Majic 104.9 & Hallelujah 1600
recognizes October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month with the creation of Sista Strut.  This awareness rally and 3K walk will heighten awareness about the issues of breast cancer in the African-American community, as well as provide resources available to the community.  Sista Strut will feature celebrities, performances and motivation!

Immediately before the Sista Strut walk begins, we will get you moving with the largest ever Sista Strut Pink Shuffle.  Watch the video below ...  you'll get the idea of what we are going to do.  Just on a much larger scale!

The breast cancer statistics for the St. Louis area are staggering for women of color.  This is an event to recognize the strength of the community, heighten awareness of early detection and ultimately find the cure for breast cancer for all women!  Be part of the only event in St. Louis that brings women of color together to fight breast cancer. Register now to show your support and also receive a Sista Strut t-shirt.

Proceeds from the 1st Annual Sista Strut will be provided to The Breakfast Club, Inc., an African American breast cancer support group founded in 1997, The Black Women Breast Cancer Survivors Project, a community-based project that conducts Afrocentric programming and research guided by black women breast cancer survivors, at UMSL and Siteman Cancer Center.
